SOS is an initiative which aims to, with the help of volunteers from corporate businesses, strengthen social organisations through capacity building. The project is currently in its second phase and is focussing on developing and strengthening twelve social organisations in Stellenbosch. During the final phase of this project, a social capital market will be rolled out where credible social organisations will be listed with accurate and measurable information so that corporate volunteering will result in BEE accreditation and scores.
